Fresh and Easy to Wear: grapefruit and sea breeze accords open into sage, mineral notes and driftwood. Good for daytime and warmer weather.

Warm and Spiced: saffron and cinnamon sit over tonka bean, myrrh and cedarwood, finished with amber and vanilla. Suits cooler months and evening layering.

Bold and Amber: saffron and jasmine sit over cedar and floral musk, with ambergris and resinous woods beneath. A scent that carries into a room, worth trying if you want to be noticed.

Dark and Woody: black truffle, plum and dark florals sit over patchouli and vanilla, or a leather accord finished with cashmere woods. Built for evenings.

Fruity and Soft: black cherry, rose and cherry blossom, or red apple, peony and a soft suede base. An easier, everyday option if bold amber or dark woods feel like too much.

How to Choose the Best Unisex Fragrance

There is no single best unisex perfume, because the best unisex fragrance is simply the one that suits how you actually wear scent. Work back from the occasion. 

• If you want something for daytime, the office or warm weather, a fresh, citrus-led unisex cologne style is the easiest to reach for without thinking. 
• If you want range across day and evening, a woody or musky blend will carry you through both. 
• If you want presence, amber, saffron and dark woods come into their own after dark and in colder months.

The second thing to weigh is strength. Every Laniche unisex perfume is built at Eau de Parfum concentration rather than a lighter unisex aftershave or cologne strength, so it is made to last rather than fade by lunchtime.

We build every unisex fragrance at Eau de Parfum strength rather than a lighter spray, because these are the scents most likely to end up shared, on a couple's shelf, passed between housemates, or layered under something from our Men's or Women's ranges. A lighter concentration would fade before it had the chance to do any of that. Expect a bold opening that settles through the day and holds close to the skin into the evening. How long any of them last, and how they develop, still comes down to your own skin and the weather, that is true of any fragrance, but it is worth knowing before you test one for the first time: start with a 20ml Pocket Size before you move up to a 50ml or 100ml.

Some brands treat "unisex" as a label stuck onto whatever is left over from their men's and women's lines. Ours is not that. Every one of our eight unisex fragrances was built as its own blend from the start, through the same top, heart and base note process as anything in our Men's or Women's ranges, we simply never assigned the finished blend to one gender in the first place.
